Cross Creek Farm shines at Down East Dressage!

Lauren & Juri had an emotional debut back in the show ring after a long
recovery from colic surgery in 2006. The pair had not been in a show ring since October of 2005. Entering PSG
on both days, they ended up 3rd to Jim Koford and Tami Batts with a 66.750% on Saturday, and won the class on Sunday with
a 66%. The love between the two is obvious and seeing them back in the show ring, where they belong, was a delight for
all!

Absolut' Gift (AKA Otis and Little Red) also made his way back to the
show ring after a long break. Sandra Koziara, who has been riding him regularly for over a year, did quite well
in two Training 3 classes and is looking forward to showing him again in the fall.

|
Trainer Joe Eaton also showed Otis on both days at Training 4 and won large
classes with scores of 69 and 70%. Several competitors teased Joe and asked him not to show in their classes anymore!
Quite a compliment, and quite a show for Otis, Joe and Sandra.....after over two years of not being in a show ring.

Lauren also showed her young horse, Cameron, at Training 2 and Training 3.
The pair won a large class with a 69.286% and placed 3rd in their other two classes with scores of 68.571% and 65.6%.
A fun time for all....in spite of the heat and thunderstorms!
